Shameless Promotion: If you are ready for footy but can't wait 10 hours till game time, I was the guest on the most recently released NYCFC Fan Podcast.

http://nycfcpodcast.com/nycfc-s1e42-interview-with-noah-blumenthal-aka-footylovin/

If you haven't listened to Andres's podcast before, give it a try. And let me know what I got right/wrong.

I'm saddened that I will now feel obligated to call you Noah when I see you. As opposed to "hey footylovin". Jk I've been meaning to ask you your name.

Great podcast! Very well done.
Thanks! I admit I butchered what I thought should be done with Angelino. Then again, I wasn't taking into consideration just how much of a debacle our defense would be in the first half.

Can't wait to see Angelino play the full 90 tonight.

NE w/out Goncalves & Jones. NYC w/out Hernandez and w/Angelino looking to attack at every opportunity. We wont see fewer than 5 goals this game. NYC wins 3-2.

With Hernandez out we will have to play Wingert in the middle. This one will be high scoring

I hope we see our 300k man, Nemec, tonight. I really want to see what he can do with these Angelino and Iraola crosses.

(not kidding)

If he does play, I don't think he's going to be starting. The match preview is a Mullins revenge narrative, along the lines of subbing Wingert off at RSL for a clap, or subbing him on at Hofstra on his birthday. Fortunately, I have less of a problem with Mullins getting minutes. I hope he can poach some goals

Goes without saying, but we really need to take all three today. A draw just doesn't do a lot for us. If we lose, our probability of making the playoffs drops to 25%.

I'm spending the evening with Drew Galloway, McIntyre or whatever he calls himself these days. :(

God help me........

I don't think you can really break it down to a mathematical formula. I still think we can go on a massive run once Iraola, Angelino, Mix, Lampard, Pirlo and Villa are all on the field at the same time that can't be perfectly quantified by that.

Explain? I know who he is but do you mean your watching wrestling instead of the match? Or are you actually literally hanging out with him for some reason? He's a Rangers supporter so I respect him :)

We should get exponentially better by mid August, however. But we still need 4 points the next two games to show we mean business.

He's performing locally tonight (wrestling and meet & greet) and happens to be one of my little girls favorite wrestlers.

Can't run my son up to Yankee Stadium 8 or 9 times during any given summer, then tell my daughter no when she asks to see a wrestling event every now and then. What are ya gonna do? ;)

Then again, you guys should be thanking me. The way things have been going for me as of late, my missing this match all but guarantees we'll win 6-0 tonight!
