Love the tasting room at Great South Bay, it's huge. These last two weekends I've hit up Peekskill Brewery, Newburgh Brewing, 2 Way Brewing, Mill House Brewing, Long Ireland, Crooked Ladder Brewery, Moustache Brewing, and Barrage Brewing. I though Barrage had the best beers overall. They have one called Yada Yada Yada that's made with snickers and tastes just like one. Newburgh had a ton of beers on tap and an awesome view of the Hudson valley. I'm always looking for a good sour beer and Peekskill's simple sour is one of my favorites. If you're ever out in Riverhead, Long Ireland, Crooked Ladder, and Moustache are all within 10 minutes of each other.

I have been drinking a bunch of stuff from Transmitter in LIC they make interesting stuff if you like Farmhouse style beers.

On the hoppier side I have been really impressed with the IPAs from Barrier on Long Island and Other Half in Brooklyn.

I have a Transmitter Saison sitting in my fridge right now that i'm gonna crack open after work. Where Transmitter is located is another great area for breweries. You have Transmitter, Rockaway, Big Alice, and soon to open LIC Beer Project all within close proximity.

I am an extremely boring basic IPA lover. If I never drank another beer but Bell's Two-Hearted Ale, it would be fine with me. My other favorite at the moment is Ballast Point Sculpin but that is usually $15-16 per six pack which is a little much for regular consumption.

Goose Island IPA is my choice at the stadium but if forced to choose I'd take cheaper beer over better beer where game day is concerned.

Yeah goose ipa is my go to at the stadium as well. Wish they had a few more interesting non-Budweiser owned choices.

If you like some spiciness check out the Ballast Point Habanero Sculpin.

Me too I enjoy Goose Island I even have a 6 pack in my fridge left over from Memorial Day but when I'm at a game I almost always go cheaper beer.

Unfortunately nothing at the stadium is cheaper by a large enough margin to change my mind.

Seems as good a place as any to mention my favorite pregame spot when I have the time: Irish Eyes in Inwood.

It is about a 15 minute walk south of the marble hill metro north train and has a deal with five bottles of Budweiser for $15. Anyone from the UWS or upper manhattan who likes a quiet scene in a real dive might enjoy it. Has been my favorite bar for years, mostly because it is reliably near empty most of the time. Getting more business now that Reynold's has closed though. Great pizza across the street at Grandpa's as well.

Two-Hearted and Sculpin are my favorite go-to beers. I was ecstatic when Bell's finally started distributing in NYC last year.

Best brewery experiences for me are Long Trail and Harpoon in VT and dare I say Boston Brewing in Boston. Brew Dog in Edinburgh was flippin amazing too. The beers were on the higher side of average with respect to American crafts but it was a breath of hoppy fresh air in a country filled with bitters and adjunct lagers. It also helped that Edinburgh is fucking awesome.

Locally, Singlecut in LIC is a lot of fun with good quality beers.

Favorite beer would have to be a toss up between Space Dust and the elusive Pliny the Elder.

I'm hitting up Rattle n Hum today so I keep checking to see if they have any of the beers you fine people have suggested - looks like Two-Hearted will be in my mouth in a few hours

They also have Transmitter NY3 New York Funk, but no Saison - shall I give that a whirl?

I'll put Ommegang in as my top brewery experience. Hidden away up in Cooperstown on a farm growing their own hops with enough land to offer some amazing festivals and concerts. I highly recommend it to anyone who can make the trip.

Anyone else here use Untappd for tracking their drinking enjoyment?

Prepare to have a lupulin load blown directly down your throat. You really can't go wrong with Two Hearted.
