Bless Their Hearts (RBNJ Talk Here)

What the hell? Why would SKC allow that?

I mean it won't affect them at all but still.
Cash is king. SKC doesn't need to advertise to sell tickets for their own games, they sell out. So I guess they probably could have accepted less money for some other random advertisement.

Or that could have been a directive from MLS since SKC was able to host the US Open Cup.

i think it was reddit where they said that US Soccer was the one selling ad rights for the game. that is why RB was able to buy a couple spots.

RBNJ are literally giving away playoff tickets v Toronto.

Fred Jr. participated in a few Red Bull RDS training schools and I got this email:

Red Bulls Training Programs Participants,

How much do those programs cost?

WARNING, WARNING: HUMBLEBRAG APPROACHING...

He did the tryout-based RDS program, which was about $300 for 6 or 8 90-minute sessions, depending on the season. It was incredible training with the coaches who now coach their youngest Academy teams. Really awesome and full of really good kids that were very focused on learning. They helped my son grow immensely as a player. I give them the highest possible recommendation. They pre-authorize your credit card to attend the tryout, but there is no charge if your kid does not make it:

They also do cheaper programs that don't have tryouts, but my experience with them has been poor, as it is lesser coaches and kids that are not necessarily all that focused on getting the most out of the experience.

Good info. Thanks.

That's a decent chunk of change, so it's not like they are giving them out to people who did not invest in the club, but I'd expect thus for a regular season game. Giving away free playoff tickets is a bit sad. That being said, our sales are not looking all that great

I wouldn't expect our sales to pick up until after the first game -- more so if we win or draw or at least score an away goal or two in defeat.

I think it’ll pick up after we get a start time.
