Bonus clauses for players

Obviously, this is largely the result of signing an attacking midfielder and a new manager turning him into a top center forward. Of course, if you’re the club, you’re happy to pay it.

But it got me thinking - anyone else heard of any odd bonuses either due to accumulation or just weird? I feel like I’ve heard stories of players being paid not to smoke (ahem, Jack Wilshere), but I’d imagine there are lots of other through the annals of history (haha - annals).

Not a bonus, but Bobby Bonilla's last contract always amazes me.

The weight loss bonuses are strange (for example Eddie Lacy's recent one with the Seahawks). I believe that Rollie Fingers grew the famous mustache as a result of a "moustache bonus". Different concept, but the "bad boy" clauses are even funnier, some legendary (Dez Bryant, Balotelli, etc.).
