Brooklyn Supporters

Hi folks. I see this thread has been dead for a while. Were any decisions made?
I'd like to push for McMahon's Public House on 5th Ave. I think it's the perfect location and perfect size.

It's one block away from Atlantic Center/Barclays Center and easily accessible to pretty much everyone in Brooklyn. It's a big, open, Irish style bar with tons of TVs. They always have PL/Championship/Seria A games on when I go there. Their food is standard pub grub and they have a pretty good beer selection.

If I can rally some people to give it a try, I'll reach out to them and see if they'll host us for the 3/21 game against Colorado. Maybe get a beer special. Seems like a good spot for us!

I've been there! Cool spot. That would definitely work for me. I live two blocks from the Barclays Center. And a quick walk to McMahon's. Hope it works out.

Banter has been home to a few Brown Bag events. I haven't been there yet but the guys all seem to enjoy it very much.

Yes, this location is very convenient for me and probably many others. Banter only works for people who live in Greenpoint or Williamsburg really.

Hey guys! New member, have been hanging out at r/NYCFC.

I've been looking all over to see if there was a Brooklyn based supporters club. I was playing around on Photoshop, and came up with an idea for a name and a logo. I thought "Brooklyn Wanderers SC" might fit. I included a bunch of info in the image.

Looking forward to hopefully hanging out with you guys. Let me know if you have any thoughts, and I'm happy to hang out no matter where end up. (I'm also in Bushwick, so Williamsburg is easier for me, but whatever is easiest for most.)

Looks good. A note, though: the phrase is "Eendracht maekt macht". It looks from your font like you've spelt it "Eendraght maekt maght".

Great name, but also Brooklyn Warriors would not be bad.........

New season ticket holder here also located in Brooklyn. I agree somewhere downtown brooklyn is the most efficient.

I figured that everyone would have already had plans for the season opener, so probably not haha
I was planning on going to Nevada Smith's, but I thought I'd try to see if there's going to be a decent group somewhere closer to home. I'm open to McMahon's or Highbury Pub (which is right around the corner from my apartment).

@BrownBagSC is hosting a viewing party at

Banter in Williamsburg
132 Havemeyer ST
20 NY beers on tap
$7 flights of 4
among other specials and Food

All are welcome as long as you support our boys in Sky Blue!!!

Anyone taking the D train in from South Brooklyn for the game?, my plan is to grab some squares from L&B and then jump on the 86th street / Stillwell Ave D train to Yankee Stadium
Does the D run up there on Sundays? The transfer to the D is slightly easier than transferring to the 4 at Atlantic center.
