David Villa takes this team to a completely different level when he's having a good night. I really hope we get our shit together sooner rather than later so we can win a trophy with him before he gets too old.
We won 4-1, Villa scored two and he's STILL mad. Love that little Spanish man. Gooooood I wish Harrison had fed him the ball at the end.
Villa's will and desire to win are second to none.
Just here praying for Toronto and Red Bull losses, we are 1st in the east for tonight and 2nd in MLS. I'm becoming an Impact, Union, and Crew fan for the weekend (Impact beat the red bulls and we have 3 on them, Union pull away with 3 vs Toronto and we are 2 ahead at the top, and Crew beating, or even tieing the Revs cements out playoff spot)
i'd console myself with clinching the playoff spot if Jersey win but I can in no way shape or form root for it.

As many have pointed out best game from the Captain in awhile. Have to think he makes it to 20 with 3 matches left and only 1 more goal needed. He does seem to care so much more than a lot of DP's in the league past or present. We've made some good and bad moves in our short existence but for a first ever signing he'll take some beating.

In a more serious post, Shelton really brings a physicality that we have missed this season. Two games in a row he has won goal deciding headers. If he can learn to finish... watch out!!!
