City in the Boroughs 2017 - Manhattan

NYCFC front office is holding City in the Boroughs town hall events. Manhattan is kicking off the series with Vieira, Patricof, and player. (It was Patricof, Reyna, and White last year).

Tuesday, March 28.

Ugh Ugh Ugh.

Last year us Westchester residents were lumped in with the Bronx*, which is very hard for us to get to. Why can't they put us in with Manhattan since that's where most of us are for the balance of the day anyway?

* - we also had, like, 36 hours notice.

I'm just going to email them and ask to be included for Manhattan (or better yet, to do a Westchester event).

Still pretty certain that Westchester STHs are many mutiples the number of Staten Island STHs.

Something was messed up with the Bronx invites. I had to request an invite despite living only blocks away from the location.

The bar was just off of the Deegan, so I would have thought it would be easier for Westchester folks with cars than people from the eastern Bronx without, but then again there are probably more Westchester STHs than East Bronx STHs.

The club said last year that their intention is that everyone whose primary address is within the borough in question will get an invite. The reality has not always lived up to the the intention. If you didn't get an invite reach out to your rep and they should be able to help.
 
I'm leaning towards not attending to due work and feeling under the weather. Anyone who is going, please be attentive and remember all the details to post them here...
