I selected the two without orange. Not a huge fan of the color (I get what it stands for) and don't love how it plays with the others.
But...as it's been pointed out any orange will provide some contrast to the uni and help it stand out. It's a good point that I didn't think of.

I went with #2 home, #1 away (ordered top to bottom). I tried to maximize black and orange, and to a lesser extent navy.
I picked the top choices for both. I think the others had too much orange. What's this fascination with orange? Yeah, it's part of the NYC flag, but blue and orange say Mets and Knicks to me. Two teams we don't want to be associated with.
Mine were in a completely different order. Hmmmm.
I went with the orange for both. Since there's less orange on the jerseys, I think it'll make them stand out more. I also liked the designs a little better.
I chose the first two. I like the idea of orange being incorporated but those particular orange designs I thought weren't very good.
I appreciate the opportunities that they are giving the fan base to voice their opinions. Getting to vote on designs for the Captain's armband is a great idea.
Went with the Orange bands as they would stand out the most from each respective kit.
Where did you see these options? I only saw a question for armband colors and founding member questions.
When you log back in, there are "My activities" which includes surveys you haven't done yet.
It was part of setting up the account. I couldn't just submit my email and name, there were a variety of market research questions first. Nothing too intrusive. Maybe they only applied it to a sampling? Or only to people who signed in with the "exclusive" link for founding season ticket holders?
The armband question came after creating the account, waiting for the confirming email and signing back in. That was accompanied, for me, by a question about starting game times for weekday games that are not nationally televised: 7:00, 7:15, or 7:30. I picked 7:30.
