    What passion!

These teams in South America are true passion. Its life down there.

Right now Boca vs River delayed due to fans injuring a player.

I like it better when games are played the day originally scheduled.

So this game has been rescheduled to exactly the same timeslot as the first leg of the MLS Eastern Conference Final.

    Sorry, MLS.

That's not passion, man. That's an embarrassment. Throwing bottles and tear gas at the opposing team's bus isn't being an ultra, it's being a criminal.

This entire twitter thread reported it as it happened. Brutal scenes.

    What a disgrace.
This game should be played behind closed doors.

this has yet to be confirmed. The rumor is play at UAE so then the winner stays to play the club world cup.

This whole thing was insane, i was actually watching the whole thing from the pregame stuff thru fox deportes and that was crazy 4/5 hours watching this stuff. i recall that conmebol changed the usual date and times (weeknights ) to weekends so then europe and other parts of the world can enjoy the final.....all that shit backfired now.

Also, one of the presidents ( i think) mentioned that they had other presidents/ director from other parts of the world such as FIFA president, but he also specifically mentioned that MLS representative was there, i do wonder if it was Don Garber there. If so perhaps there is some legs to that MLS teams to Libertadores rumor.

So I spent last night evidently watching a replay of River's victory over Boca in the Argentine Supercopa last March and spent many hours this morning mystified why no media outlets were reporting on the second leg of the final.

    My spanish is... not good.

Also I may have overly recreated ahead of gametime.

Should be held in NY (NJ - Metlife) make it neutral for both. . Plus change the weather for them.

Im not sure where i read it but i remember Liga MX is talking with Conmebol to go back to Libertadores, and that in discussion they want MLS. 5 spots in total 3 mexico and 2 mls... Or 5 spots for the newly formed MLS/Liga MX league

I'm sure police departments all over the country are telling their local stadium management groups to decline this match.

Being worried about the Argentinean diaspora in Miami is like being worried about Yankees fans in Tampa. Rich and harmless.

I'd be more worried about the young Americans who aspire to be like the Argentine ultras.

Yep that's the rumor, apparently IMG was leading that push for MLS teams. I think liga mx president will meet with conmebol next week to discuss details, so could happen, even though garber "denied" it recently
