David Villa Sanchez [Forward]

I don't understand why everyone is questioning Villa's frustration last night. That shows commitment and passion for the team and league to me.

We also need to remember that last night was not the first time that he wasn't on the pitch while we put a ball into the back of the net. Im truly starting to believe that coach needs to switch the match plan. The " get the ball to Villa as quick as you can" just isn't working. It's causing chaos and loss of possession. The players are getting frustrated when making rushed passes. Its easy to see that they rush the ball forwards towards Villa and its just getting read by the opponent.

He was freaking worthless last night. Every time he got a pass he didn't/couldn't do anything with it! I understand why he was frustrated, but it doesn't mean that he has to completely stop playing aggressive football and mope around until he was subbed off! The lack of effort to make something of his time on the field is why many of us were angry with him.

Because he should be forward receiving through balls. He's receiving the ball on the wing and having to dribble his way into a shooting position. When he does dump the ball off there is nobody there to receive it.

That is his playing style. He loves the give and goe, dribble to the box from the wing. When it works , it's beautiful. When it doesn't , it's frustrating lol. We just need to remember that things are still brand new. Its tiresome to keep saying it but it's the truth. For two years people have been talking about NYCFC so we forget its only been a few months of actually match play.

It may be his style but it is not the way he should be used in this league and on this team. He should be up and alone. Period.

So far I'm pretty satisfied by Villa's production.... it was a rough beginning of the season, but it seems he is finally starting to produce the way we all expected him to

I never lost faith or been disappointed with Davicito talented legs.

This past Sunday Univison Republica Deportiva chose his first goal of the game Vs Toronto as #2 from the 10 best of the week.

I love the passion he brings to the game. He has scored on the very biggest stages this sport has to offer. And you can still see that whenever he scores now. You can tell in no way, shape, or form does he look down on the MLS.
