Dax to Chicago

That's a nut-punch. I despise the guy, but he just got married two days ago and RB ships him off - talk about fcking up his immediate home-life situation; bet his wife is thrilled.

Not a rumor

There's a question mark in the title of the thread and it's not reported by MLS or the clubs. This is as confirmed as Camargo to NYCFC before it was announced as official by NYCFC.

It would seem that this is a reported likely already consummated transaction worthy of discussion rather than lost in a rumor thread most have little interest in reading.

As Chair of the NYCFC Forums Disciplinary Committee, I'll allow the separate thread, pending the removal of the "?" once it's reported by either club or the league office.

Anyway, according to MLS Math...

Harrison = Vincent + GAM
Lewis = 250K GAM
Dax = 400K GAM

Harrison + Lewis = Dax - Vincent + X GAM

Anyway, we got Lewis and Harrison and sent Red Bulls captain to the Fire. Hopefully the Red Bulls don't spend their newly acquired GAM wisely.

Imagine Dax at USMNT camp with Klestian and Robles and realizing he's not teammates with them anymore. I wonder who he's rooming with currently and if he'll change roommates or something to room with the Chicago Fire player on the USMNT. Oh, wait, that's nobody.

so they have someone in the ranks equally as good or will be good in a year or so? or a DP coming? i felt he was of the important pieces of the success of the team.

Bet he now wishes his agent got him a no-trade clause.

Maybe once Jesse Marsh's move to Austria fell through, Dax called his agent and told him to make a trade even if it's to that crappy team in Chicago...

They have a homegrown player Sean Davis who began cracking the lineup last season when Dax broke his leg. Younger, cheaper, higher ceiling IMHO.

Cutthroat but logical move. No use investing in your academy if you are not going to play those kids. Opens the door for them to go out and get a TAM level player and they already had cap flexibility.
