HUGE thanks to Rimil Rimil for this workaround!

Menu > setting > audio & video > audio selection > enable
Use the PIP button (bottom of remote) to change feeds as well.

This will enable you to switch audio feeds to all the ones available.
It worked for him for the Chicago game and I don't see why it won't work going forward.

Another amazing feature - narrator audio in movies.
I was just watching a movie when I enabled it and it allowed me to pull up the narrator audio. Pretty neat feature.
I'll see if the English works for a Liga MX broadcast coming up in an hour.

Thank you, thank you. They said it couldn't be done, but I wasn't satisfied. They said stop watching telenovelas and get back to work, but I said 'No! People are counting on me to figure this out!' They said, seriously why are you still watching these telenovelas, but I was already hooked.

Then came my big test. Viernes de fútbol! Eagerly I followed the instruction from MLS website and..... No trabaho. So I said, why don't I try this section audio & video. Next I saw audio selection. Well that seemed promising too, so down the rabbit hole I went. Surely when I hit enable I would have what I searched so desperately for. But alas, still fútbol en español.

I didn't even know what I enabled. When I went back and read it, I learned that it changed the button function on my remote. So I hit the button and voila. English commentators. I honestly feel into it ass backwards. Then I posted it causally on the forum and it turns out it's been a long running problem. And apparently for solving the unsolvable problem I have become the de facto leader of this gang.

What? I'm not the leader? This isn't even a gang? Alright alright, I'll accept this thanks as reward enough.

Viola post of the year so far. Yes viola as in the instrument

What exactly is YES airing that is so important that they can't air all non-nationally televised NYCFC games?

I am a Yankees fan but I don't care about spring training game, mostly.

This game is nationally televised -- Unimas is exclusive on Friday nights.

Is this with the Cable Box remote or the TV remote?

FYI for those using Fios. Just finished watching the DVR recording and was still able to utilize the SAP function through DVR. Pretty cool.
Found it interesting that TWC has multiple channels for Unimas, but the SAP only worked on one of them.

Not sure if it was my settings, or because of my cable package, but when I turn to the Univision networks for MLS games, they are automatically in English. Whenever I look at the channels during any other programs, including Liga MX or other sports, it is in spanish.

Anyone else use Sling TV? Still haven't figured out if its possible to make the change on the app. Although I will admit it's fun hearing the Spanish announcers refer to Villa as El Guaje all game. Random question, do the announcers in Spain do the Goooooolaaaaaazzzooo thing or is that purely a North/South/Central American Spanish thing?

Does enabling SAP still work for other people. I have Time Warner (refuse to acknowledge the Spectrum name) and it doesn’t work for me since they put the English language broadcast for Unimas/Univision onto Twitter. The secondary language button does nothing.

So I'm a Fios user now. When I watch Unimas, either live or on DVR, with my TV I can't get SAP to work no matter what I do. But, when I stream from the DVR to my phone, the English audio is on by default.

Yes it works. You have to go to the really “high” number channel (804?) for it to work - don’t understand why the “low” number channel doesn’t also have the SAP feature.

Count your blessings. I did not know the great evil I was unleashing in learning how to turn on the SAP. Unimas english broadcast is torture. The dead air which on any other broadcast would be a faux pas is actually a pleasant reprieve. The awkward color commentary and missed call outs are are just the tip of the iceberg. Below the icy chemistry lurks a horror, no no no, not a horror but an abbbbbbooominaaaaaaaaationnnnnnnnn. The dreaded forced golazo call.

Please don't subject your loved ones to second hand auditory torture, just keep it en español.
