Just getting the thread started. FPL is open for business and you can start picking your teams if you want.

The All-Out Attack chip has been replaced with Free Hit, which is basically a one-time Wildcard which allows you to create a whole new team that only lasts one gameweek before automatically reverting to your previous lineup.

They've added a draft league this year, which could be fun.

I tried getting into Premier League fantasy last year but found that even though I watch a bit of it on the weekend mornings, I just didn't know it well enough and eventually lost interest from a transfer standpoint. But I think I may be able to get behind a draft league, I may give that a shot.

I'm definitely in for a forums league again. 20 team head-to-head battle (if we are able to find 20)

I was in last year but won't be continuing. FPL isn't working for me.

I do like the new one-time wild card. The late season schedule gets totally messed up and you cannot prepare for it because it is mostly due to who wins FA cup games. There was a week late last season where I think only 6 teams played and it would help to have that wildcard where you rebuild for that week and it all snaps back the next week.

But still, bottom line I'm out so account for that when counting heads,

if the end of season shenanigans are whats holding you back, i'll just say everyone is playing with the same rules. Some people make it work for them by prepping weeks in advance subbing out top 4 players and putting in mid table week by week. or like you said they hold onto wildcards for these last crazy weeks where they need total overhauls. There is strategy to it, and it can make it interesting having sub limits.
