England's kit showcasing Nike's version of their WC kits. Looks incredibly ventilated, interested to seeing how it looks in motion and in store (link has better close-ups and such). LINK.

Anybody else planning to go?

I made applications for 7 group stage matches - Spain v Portugal, Argentina v Iceland, Germany v Mexico, Argentina v Croatia, Denmark v France, Serbia v Brazil, England v Belgium.

No idea how many I will get.

Might have to ignore this thread.

Also, I don't think we would have escaped Groups E F or G (replacing the CCF team) even if we did qualify.

Guy, forget about the USMNT for a second and just enjoy the excitement and chaos of group stage WC play. It's interesting to see the different styles of play and open up the mind to such a diverse range of play. Games between teams I would've never watched or held an interest in before can be really entertaining to watch.

(Just don't watch any of the games with Panama or Costa Rica)

those are legit my 3 most hated teams

really? interesting...growing up during 90's it was all about brazil and the way of play....they seem to be getting back to that under Tite......Germany seems always is fighting for spot and with their system they implemented decades ago they legit have enough players to field two ( maybe three) powerfull teams.

France has the young generation working well....i put them under Germany/Brazil since they have had hiccups along the road.

I think they could have had a shot at Group F. Also, consider Group C as Australia took that spot via playoff with Honduras. I think that is potentially another group the US could have had a shot at getting out of, but would still be quite tough.

100%

Our rough plan is to go for the group stages and then try and get back for a cheeky final ticket. The reasoning being that the most fun part is meeting tons of other fans from other countries and all the matches going on at public viewing spaces etc.

Also maybe if there is actual football on it will distract the professional MMA fighters masquerading as fans.
