I'm thinking 205 first row (or second, whatever) on the left hand side, so the higher numbers as close to the aisle as possible. Or now I'm flirting with 107. I don't want to move into that higher category but Adam made a few good points regarding the 100 sections. Tough decisions.

still undecided, also the theory of 215 being in the shade is being contradicted by the information in the link they sent out today, stating for late afternoon games the 3B side would get the most shade.

Row 1 in 014, 103 or205 are probably the spots I am most interested in now.

Why the worry about the shade? MLS' hallmark seems to be not having many afternoon games. RBNY had three afternoon home game this year. Anyway, with a season that runs from March through October, half the season sun would preferable and half the season shade would be preferable.

I ordered at around 3:30 and my time is the 9th at 1:40.

This makes sense. I ordered around 2:30 on the phone. And I'm 1:20. So prob a mad rush between 1-2pm that made the 2 hrs difference in seat selection. And us 2-3pm ppl are just latecomers.

I read on Ratemyseats.com that 103 actually starts the row numbering at row 10 and ends at 19, making it 10 rows, that's a little odd if true.

Yeah it's a small section, coupled with 104 it feels a little larger, but very personal. Only 3 tunnels to get access to those 2 sections, each with it's own guard. Had to use my best bond skill to get passed for my photos. I'm wondering if last row in 103 might make sense for the viewing angle and I'd still have access to go to the front before the match with my daughter to get an autograph or something. But there's something special about 1st row... Wish I took photos from or sat in the last row in 103!

Does anyone have an opinion on section 111?
It's close to, or in the "family section" I think. Also, with it kind of chopped up by the moat sections, it may be kind of awkward to take the first few rows.

That is my mindset regarding 103, if I opt for that section i'll look at row 1, if it's not available I'll go for last row (quick in and out) lol

Thanks, I'm going back and forth over which section to go with. I really don"t want anything on the 3B side, so the 1b side is where I'm thinking.

I'm headed to Yankee Stadium Tuesday.
I'll make my decision then.
If anyone has seat view requests or questions let me know. No promises but I'll do my best.

1B side, the popular spots seem to be 215, 214, 014a/B and 115.

103 seems to be the leader in the OF side of the stadium (after supporters section)

That's what I've noticed, I haven't been to the new stadium; is the centerfield jumbotron (lol or whatever the yankees call it) clearly visible from 103? or even 205? I like the view from 205, but am less certain about looking over the sideline and the bench.

I have not been there either, I think it might be a little awkward from 103, 205 might be a little better. 014, 114,214 or surrounding sections would give the best view of the screen.

yeah, since 103 is at the OF wall, it should be elevated, so not sure how much the bench and ad wall will factor in. would be great if there were pics floating around from previous games from that side of the stadium, almost every video or pic I have seen is closer to the of on the 3B line

Well I've sorta decided to go with the 1b side, probably in the 200's, hopefully 214 or 215 if they are available on the 12th. I think going under the overhang is a good idea as well, it's football/soccer not baseball so the weather does matter. I know when the mets moved into citi field, I moved my seats the first 4 seasons, so I don't expect everything to be perfect; aisle, bathroom, concessions just down the runway. This being NYC, Yankee stadium will probably be home for at least 2 or 3 seasons, and I'll move seats next year if needed. I hope everyone gets the seats they want, and I'd like to thank everyone for all the thoughts and ideas they've posted. Enjoy.

I sat in the 2nd to last row of 111 for two years of Yankee games and if you're looking to be under cover, I'd recommend sitting there. Under cover in the 200s is going to be pretty far back. 111 is tremendous for quick in and out for the subway.

The 111 seats are only $3 per game more expensive than 211 and I would say very well worth it.
