If they did something like send him here on that timeline, it would be the most humiliating start imaginable. It would be a massive insult to us and the entire league, confirming that we are truly a scheme for subverting FFP. Even if they didn't have that intention, if that's how they use this club, what is the difference?

Spoiler: there wont be one difference. I don't know if this will happen, but it's absurd that there is this level of mystery surrounding it. CFG can blame themselves, and themselves alone. If NYC weren't treated like a joke by them, we wouldn't be a punchline in the media.
