Game Of Thrones (spoilers)

she left her betrothed to run off with a married man - as a result of not telling anyone, a war is started, her father is burned alive, her one brother is killed, and the other (Ned) is very nearly killed - thousands die including her love, Rhaegar, and his family is overthrown and murdered - then not only does she give her child to Ned and asks him to keep a terribly secret that causes marital strain with Cat, she also has the nerve to name him after Rhaegar's other son that was killed by The Mountain (he might have helped name Jon/Aegon as well, but still) - all of that, just because she was thirsty

to be fair, she never asked to marry robert, it was an arranged marriage.

So are Tormund and Beric dead/ about to die? My guess is episode 1 they get a raven out to Winterfell right as Dany and Jon and whoever else arrive there.

Oh and I am definitely beginning to suspect Jamie is Azor Ahai IF it is not Jon.

Trying to blame her for that and not Rhaegar is unreasonable.

Sure, but if Lyanna was straight forward about it, who do you think the Starks are joining in the rebellion? It's not the Baratheons. The North + the Targaryens ensures the Targaryens would have remained rulers of Westeros, and we would have no show lol.

I've long wondered how the rebellion might have happened if everyone knew Lyann and Rhaegar were in love. The King was still mad and killing/torturing people willy nilly anyway. And I've also long blamed those 2 in part for the wars death and chaos that ensued. True love is great. But you live in a world with rules and consequences, and when your secret love has that much chaos as a completely foreseeable result, I'm sorry but Rhaegar has to stay true to his original wife and everything else follows from that.

TBH, George is probably busy writing this alt-history right now and that's why he doesn't have time to finish the sixth book. :D

To happier thoughts, I am very glad that Jamie decided to be the man that Brienne always pushed him to be, and it took just a small interchange for that effect she has on him to bear fruit. I don't see them shipping, but I really like that they have paid off their relationship and the effect she always had on him when they were in each other's company.

It's not clear to me, though. Is Jamie going north alone, with no forces? That was kind of ambiguous in the scene with Cersei. The scene of him riding solo indicates an answer I guess but it was kind of unclear.

Another beat I liked was how the catalyst that turned Theon's fight around was getting kicked in the groin to limited effect. A bit unrealistic and that would not undo the effect of the beating he already took, even as it heartened him, but it was a nice payoff.
IDK, I thought that was too cliche.... I remember as a little kid riding a bike too big for my height and falling forward on that demonic bar between the seat and the handle bar - While I only landed on the bone, and didn't crush anything more important, the pain was excruciating. If Theon really got repeatedly kneed in his tail/pelvic bone, or whichever one it is, he'd still have been seeing stars.

I think when season one begins it'll be Jamie arriving and giving word that cercei broke her promise. I'm glad that he made that decision because he is a well liked character for me.
Really enjoyed the episode. Think it tied a lot of loose ends. Got rid of baelish who was just really annoying.

The ice dragon is everything I wanted it to be

its technically not an ice dragon... according to the books an ice dragon is something that may have existed at one time, but not from white walkers. They were supposed to be bigger than regular dragons
