Game is live on FOX Sports Go only -- YES will air it later in the night.
The coverage we're getting is shit. If YES isn't going to show our games than why can't we just let another channel play the tape delayed games instead

Because the contract is with YES, not with MSG or SNY or anyone else. Aside from the days when there are conflicts, the coverage is no worse than MSG gives the Red Bulls -- and considering the awful announcers on MSG, I'd say YES's coverage might actually be better aside from the conflicts.

So he's the one who held his whistle on the RJ Allen handball (or ball to hand) right before that sweet pass to Villa.

He also ignored this.

So I think we can expect Ring back. And potentially Mata (??) the other big question is does Pirlo play. Ring-Pirlo-Maxi midfield?

The other thing is does the same front 3 start. I would expect Villa to go 90, maybe Jack too, but would think Wallace might get subbed. He was sucking wind at the end of the last game.

Wasn't a handball. And no foul there. Just a defender getting in front of a pass.
First Seth, now you, confirming my assessment less than 24 hours after complaining about it. You are the guy who never admits anything bad about NYCFC (even if it's partly an act). Just own it. Or I'm gonna start pushing back when people kid me about liking facts and rules.

I'm still in my incensed, depression state. I don't even know what I'm posting. I don't know what I'm feeling. I'm so confused. We suck, we're good, we're average, we can't do shit. I'm shit. Everything's shit. Vieira is shit.

interesting...i never see these as fouls when you are still going to challenge for the ball. only when a player is already in ground and you hit him i think its yellow or red.

as for handball...it was but guess ref thought it was ball hit hand type thing......and ill allow it...made my trip to portland much more awesome

International Duty: Herrera, Wallace, Camargo
Paternity Absent: Ring? (He's posted on Instagram story his wife being in labor as of yesterday)...
Injury List: Questionable: Mata, Pirlo. Out: Khiry

So our lineup looks like this at the worst...

---McNamara---Villa---Lewis------
------------Harrison---Maxi----------
------------------Lopez-----------------
-Sweat---Callens--Chanot-White--
----------------Johnson----------------

Sucks that we lose Wallace for this one, especially since hasn't he mostly been on the bench for the Ticos?

Also, seems Camargo didn't leave early and is still available for this game according to this: http://www.frontrowsoccer.com/2017/06/01/gone-costa-rica-wallace-wont-play-nycfc-saturday/

Happy for Ring if he is a new dad, but unless his wife is (still) in labor at kickoff, he needs to play on Saturday. He can then take a week at home to enjoy it.

Philly D has actually been really good lately, but they are also starting Gooch...so my money is on Villa. Although Gooch better not hurt Villa, or Harrison

Gonna take a random, totally wild guess and say Villa is gonna try and chip Blake at least once this game...
