We will be on short rest, yes. But Sounders play Timbers on that Tuesday night then travel across the country. Will be interesting to see how both teams line up for their respective US Open Cup matches considering they are against their biggest rivals, and then turn around and who they roll out that Saturday.
Go with regular lineups on Wednesday and Saturday. These guys have 11 days off between matches

I see Herrera sitting out this match if Venezuela goes the distance. He has already played 510 minutes (3 90' and 2 120' games). Reaching the championship would mean playing 690 to 750 minutes over 22 days. That's a lot of soccer.
Discretion is the better part of valor.
Rest him now so we get him for the stretch run. Because if he falters at the end, we're essentially cooked.
Well, think, I'd rather have him next week with two weeks of rest versus the Red Bulls (June 24th MLS match) than a non-conference game vs Seattle.

Rest him for both games. Doubt he'll be back for RB, but he's 19 and can only be pushed so hard for so long.

Again we see for this game the club needs to Stop putting Andrea's picture in the advertising since he won't be playing ! They've done this a few times now and it's wrong and deceitful ! What about the average uneducated person that goes to the site and purchases a ticket based on what they see ?!! That's Messed up ! The club needs to realize ones attention span and the value of time ,and not to expect or demand they take the extra step to look at some injury report ! Customer Service is my livelihood people snap mental over the smallest crap I live with it all the time . They just want to see him . I get that ! The Club needs to get it's shit together and stop this practice and remove his image for this and all games going forward !
We actually haven't has a game yet with our best XI. Herrera's first start wasn't until Columbus, and Mata got hurt right before that.

Bring him in for an (ineffective) McNamara in the 60th minute to blitz SEA and get a result. But I agree, don't start him. Need him rested and ready for RBNJ.
