Well Callens may see a suspension. Jump to 9:08. If so imagine a backline of:
Sweat-Brillant-White-Allen and essential no defense on the bench...

It also looked like Gio was trying to headbutt him.
Haha, I think this is a height discrepancy issue. I could imagine that Callens' arm came out to defend against someone running into his side. Probably didn't realize his elbow was coming in at right around oompa loompa height.

If you haven't been watching the Red Bulls they have gone on a winning streak utilizing a 3 ATB. The funny thing is that it's exactly the 3421 that PV wants to implement.

They've also done it by facing NE, SJ, MIN, and MTL. So three of the worst teams in the league and a SJ team that's out of the playoff picture out West.

Let's see how they do against a team in NYCFC that's had one home loss in the last 14 months, and will likely be very ornery following the Toronto game. We might lose, but I'd like to think NYCFC will put up a very tough fight.

While true, they did still win 4 in a row, and they've done so pretty much running away (3-2, 5-1, 3-0, 4-0) and that streak is 5 in a row if you count their Open Cup match win over NER.

That said, I agree with you that we are much tougher and I still think we should win this one. I just don't think we can easily discount NJRB's recent wins when we consider how well they have done it.

I'm not putting them in cup contender status but our lack of ability to attack a 3 ATB is a concern until PV proves otherwise.

Our issue is attacking a 3B with 5M. RB looks more like a 3B 4M 3F because both Royner and BWP are pushing really high. I think if we can break that front press, it'll be easier to go at their back 3 than Toronto's. I also think it'll be easier if we don't have TMac flubbing around aimlessly.

I hope so. They do play with a double pivot so the middle of the attacking third might be even more clogged than against Toronto.

Let's see if people in the front office truly read the Forums:
https://www.nycfc.com/post/2017/07/31/9-reasons-attend-hudson-river-derby

"NYCFC could make it two Hudson River Derby home wins in a row this weekend. Last time Yankee Stadium hosted the Derby, Jack Harrison scored a beautiful goal en route to a 3-1 victory. We could be looking at more of the same from the young Englishman."

We won 2-0 that game. Harrison, Villa.

Let's see if there's an edit in the morning.
