First home playoff match in our short history. I just hope this team gives us something to cheer about.
If we get kicked out let us get kicked out playing the best damn 90 or 120 we ever have.

6:30 on FS1

Win 2-0, it goes to extra time
Win 3-0 or better, we win

If they score a goal, we must win the game by three goals. So if they get one goal, we have to win 4-1. If they score two goals, we'd have to win 5-2, etc.
All true.

Note that the reason we have to win by 3 goals is that away goals are the first tiebreaker. So if we win with a score of 3-1 they have an away goal so even though it's 3-3 they have the tiebreaker. The only way we get to extra time and penalties would be if we win on Sunday 2-0, meaning it's tied 2-2 and they have no away goals. Any other result is a straight up win for one of the teams.

I posted this in tonight's post-match thread, but thought I'd share here too....

I'm not sure they do anymore, but they used to play this at Yankee stadium... maybe around the 7th or 8th inning when the Yanks were down. Thought it was perfectly fitting for right now....
Nothing is over!

6:30 PM on FS1

Good time. Bad network.

The game might actually be at 7:30. The second leg games were originally announced as being at 3, 5, 7:30, and 10 -- and every game is currently listed as an hour earlier than that.

I think daylight savings time ending on Sunday morning is screwing up their schedule listing. If you look at ESPN and FS1's TV guide listings, they have 3, 5, 7:30, and 10 as the gametimes, too. So something's not right.

EDIT: ESPN's Paul Carr said on Twitter he thinks the timeslots changed, but he's not positive at the moment. It may be 6:30, it may be 7:30. Unclear at the moment. Peak MLS.

I seriously hope the City of New York, all of its agencies, and the MTA, has its shit together on November 6th...

- New York City Marathon
- Utah Jazz @ New York Knicks (12 PM)
- Philadelphia Eagles @ New York Giants (1 PM)
- Montreal Impact @ Red Bulls (4 PM)
- Toronto FC @ New York City FC (6:30 PM)
- Winnipeg Jets @ New York Rangers (7 PM)

On this note, what's going to be the best way of getting to the stadium from NJ? NJT/D Train? Drive straight into the Bronx? I've never tangled with the marathon before so I have no clue what to expect.

Don't know the exact route, but unless you can miss Manhattan entirely, don't drive. The Marathon doesn't just screw up traffic. It halts it.

Somebody posted the stats on Twitter of NYCFC's record by network - it's something like one win and 5 losses when on FS1, versus 4 wins and 2 ties when on ESPN. Unbelievable.
You're right. I don't even remember winning one on fox.
