Bench: JLew, Taj Mahal, Scrooge, Sands, Ibeagha, Hountondji, Stoove

Big question is CB. Two left footed players is. It ideal, but this formation at least gets you your Best XI. Better to figure a way to get Ronald on the field than to add one of the other centerbacks for a full 90 - at least at this point in the season.
I'm going with "The Carpenter" for Medina.

Can't wait for this match up. I'd like to see Cedric get the start if he's match fit so we can get a look. And although Sweat had a decent match vs. SKC would like to see Mata get a chance to show what he can or cannot do. I don't think Berget makes the 18 yet.

Sweat is going to start until Mata beats him for that spot. Maxi usually plays on the right and Herrera on the left.

I would also imagine based on the interview that Viera gave at the 24-hour game that Awuah is going to be higher on the depth chart than Sands until Ofori adjusts to the team. The comments that Viera made about Lewis needing more development were very telling as well.

If Hountondji was not healthy enough to make the bench last week, I don't know if a week will really get him 90 minutes fit. I would imagine that the safe move would be for Ibeagha to start. Mark Booth also posted an article yesterday "Ibeagha Ready if Called for Home Opener."

Regarding Maxi, the focal point of the positioning presented is not where he is on the right/left as we know they often switch, but to point out that he is the attacking midfielder.

I tend to agree on all your other points but I was writing from my point of view and would like to see.

Maxi has the most leeway out of the three to move around, but Herrera is almost always on the left side of Ring. Of course, I am being pedantic.

Sunny, low 40s today. Gonna stink, but that's the second-warmest home opener we've had yet.
I’m a bitch when it comes to cold, so I’m having real reservations at this point.

It’s not so much during the game that kills me. It’s that for 3 days after, I might as well be bedridden given what it usually ends up taking out of me.

Probably just means I have to avoid scheduling anything important until late this week.
