Home - 9/23 Chicago

I'm listening to DJ Mode's pregame mix. Given it's Star Wars night, through the first 40 minutes there's no Star Wars music aside from the opening which is Penatonix (or some a capella group) singing the crawl music.

I'm quite disappointed.

EDIT: The mix ends with a disco-infused version of some Star Wars song. Weird AF.

FWIW, I ran into Mumsy before the game. She said Jack wasn't starting to monitor his minutes and keep him strong for the final push. I think (granted in retrospect because it is now after the game) that makes a lot of sense and credit to PV. Playing a weak Chicago team at YS. Jack has played a lot of minutes and only plays at one speed - balls to the wall. At 19 years old and having had one significant injury this year, a smart manager limits those minutes.

And maybe part of that too is the emergence of Khiry. His coming on allows us to be able to provide Jack some of that rest (along with become creative how we use him as a winger or midfielder)

I agree it's smart, going from a college schedule to MLS is a big jump. A lot of players have struggled with it, I'm thankful PV is being careful with a big part of our future.
