If we don't take 6 points from these two matches, idk what to think anymore.
I wanna agree with you, but then I look at our available players and I am not so sure. These are going to be tough games, just due to squad availability and fitness

What the hell is Costa Rica doing calling up Wallace?
I guess we should be happy to have him out of the way.

Who knows. We saw the effects of a depleted squad at Columbus and the squad will be further depleted over these next two matches. They've gone from "should win" to "we need some luck".

We’re two games away from looking like a #4 seed. It’s barreling towards us and unfortunately there’s nobody in the driver’s seat to hit the brakes. And I hate to say it, but that final game of the year could have us playing for our lives against Philly with the loser being the 5th seed.

As the weeks go by, that philly game looks like it's going to be more intense than the last RB one.

So this game is during the international break and NYCFC is missing four players (Ofori, Chanot, Isi, and Wallace). Anybody know if the Revs are missing anyone? Let me guess, no.

No international call ups for New England Revolution players.

With our current form it may not matter, but with six we can be just a point beyond the RB when they play next. And they could drop a bunch of points against DC away, a desperate Tor at home, Atlanta at home, and Philly away. It makes the Col game even more depressing.

I am hoping that the NE game is a season changer simply because Dome may have no choice but to let the kids play. We then need Lewis to put on a show to convince Dome to lighten up on the overanalysis and just let the kids run wild with Villa. It’s clear that we are running out of time for a complex Dome overhaul (which is not entirely his fault) so let’s just go with full throttle, high energy soccer and see if we can get some swagger.

I just want some James Sands at home.

New York City FC v New England Revolution
Yankee Stadium (7PM ET)
REF: Armando Villarreal
AR1: Logan Brown
AR2: Corey Parker
4TH: Sorin Stoica
VAR: Jorge Gonzalez

Does it even matter anymore?

Interested to see if we get another Amagat appearance. Dome brought him here and clearly thinks highly enough of him to send him out to debut during the derby. Was the horrendous red enough to cause Dome to re-evaluate or will we being seeing more of Amagat?

If Amagat had a hard time with RB’s pace in tight quarters, he’ll be shocked at New England’s pace stretching the field (and he’d cry vs Atlanta). Compared to Amagat’s compact Fiat, New England is a hyper-charged Ferrari on the autobahn- they aren’t the most technically talented, but led by Fagundez, they move from one end of the field to the other with the throttle opened up.

I like it, and as long as Stoica is 4th official and nothing that really affects the game, I think this referee team isn't too bad :)

This is my ideal lineup I think. Also hope that Callens is able to at least make the 18.

I agree, I'm mostly looking to see how quickly Dome will accept that his guy isn't up to the standards of the league. It's always telling how long it takes a manager to pivot from a mistake.

Ofori doesn't even make the bench? Did he get a multi game suspension?
