Ideas For Songs/chants

I'm a lifelong City supporter and I wouldn't like it if our club was completely copied by NYC FC.
As much as I have an interest in NYCFC - it would be far more cool if you guys went your own way, forming your own culture with influences from your fan base (which could be a combination of fans of clubs from all over the world NYC is such a vast multi-cultural city)
Bluemoon was actually sang by Crewe Alexandra supporters many moons ago, and people would go and watch Crewe, sing this song, then also go along to Maine Road (City's old stadium) and start to sing it aswell....
So take that vast culture melting pot you have in NYC (i know I'm a huge Hiphop fan) and use it to let the world know what your city is all about.
Oh and as for some posters being concerned about drug references/swearing and so on in your songs... LOL, you guys will be in your thousands all singing together at times, nobody can stop what you're singing about.
I was not allowed to swear in my house (or anywhere) as a kid, however my Father allowed me to swear at the football for 90mins

Obviously this song comes from West Sydney Wanderers, but a small group of AO guys tried making it a USMNT song. It's awesome, but doesn't fit necessarily for country.

This is awesome, dude. I've always thought Fairytale of NY would be great for NYCFC. I do, however, prefer Dustin Kensrue's version over the Pougues.
I'm actually really liking this idea for a chant
Haha yeah this could be great to sing during NYCFC v Seattle games ("...if I were green I would die")
