It was up for the Europa League final, and it's been up for USMNT games. I'm not aware of any other time it's been put up?
How dose one get the convicted honor of putting up the shout box and how is that done ?? Is there some magic switch given to exclusively by our Boss NYCFC_Dan ??

Dan and I can put it up. As a general rule, we prefer not to have it up when there isn't a game that a majority of our members will be watching, though, as it's detrimental to the board itself - it goes without saying that if people are posting in the shoutbox then they aren't posting in the threads. That's why it gets taken down again so rapidly after each game ends.

No no no I didn't really expect you or anyone to put it up just for me !! I just wanted to get reply's to my thread that's all . I had my own little quirky curiosity's about it and you did a good job explaining . But I guess you and The Boss have to keep the secret on How you post it ??? LMAO !! Maybe that's it good thing with both shared America and England's government in the craps such things shouldn't be shared in an open forum ! haha. Fair enough. I'll have to make sure to remember to spam your threads every week or so to keep you going.
As for how we put it up - it's not really a secret. For people flagged on the forum as admins, there is a control panel with all of the forum management tools - it's how we add and remove new forums, do user controls etc. The shoutbox can be shown or hidden with a button on there.
