Not only is he worth a DP spot i think hes the most important player on our team. And we got him at a great price compared to other DPs

Your friend must be retarded. Him and Ring have been the biggest influences on this team so far this season. Well worth the DP contract.

Would like to see him, ring, and Herrera steer the midfield a few more games together.

Absolutely deserves a DP spot. The decision to bring in a 2M DP instead of another 5.6 M one is for management to make, but I would say that in this short period of time he's already done more for this club that 2 of our 3 more expensive DPs. The other one, of course, will live on for centuries as a club legend. Now, is there a chance you could find a 6 million dollar guy who would be more worthy of the spot? Sure, it's possible. But not guaranteed. And we'll have that third spot available again soon, hopefully. Maxi has been a knockout success, and has acclimated quickly.

You can't ask if is he worth a DP spot or not. It's a question of what player can you fill with the DP spot. Because if Maxi is not a DP, he's not on this team because of the money. It's an opportunity cost question.

to our team? i agree... i legit stated above i think maxi is the most important player we currently have. And i think Villa is the best player we currently have. Pirlo is however my favorite player we currently have.
