Jack Harrison [Midfielder]

He's basically saying that unless Jack is hurt and can only crawl, he needs to be starting.

Like any true Englishman would.
This is where I could take a cheap shot at the often injured Frank; but I wont.
After his last couple of "Magical goals" I half expect one to bounce off his ass for 3 points

We should have a poll for which body part he scores off next. I'm saying armpit.

FYI - when voting for Jack's goal, remember you can vote every hour, and also from different browsers on the same computer (Safari, Firefox, etc). He's only leading 52-48%

Listened to the NYCFC Nation this morning, someone mentioned that Jack's groin that he had surgery on before his rookie year is has not recovered to 100% and might not recover to 100%. That's a little concerning if true.

I'd be very skeptical of information like that being accurate- unless it came from Jack, nobody would ever divulge actual medical records/status of recovery as it would dog a player's rep forever.

What was discussed was most likely/definitely speculation/banter.

I wouldn't even trust it from the player. I only trust doctors for medical opinions and diagnoses.

The only upside I can think from this is that the non 100% recoverable prevents him from being signed to a European squad so he stays with NYCFC for the long term.

Yeah, I hope so. Vieira has made it a priority to sub him off, which in some cases seems pre-planned and not for fitness reasons.

Jack appears to cover more ground this season than last - he's doing a lot of defensive tracking. Every time he subs out, he looks completely spent. And last year he tailed of at the end with his body not being able to handle the professional load - if anything, this seems like long-term/seasonal management to keep him fresh and not burned out.
