Ok, I know we don't give two s*its about whiny Marsch, but how about this arrogance, after his team gets taken behind the woodshed, he basically says that his system is fine and throws his players under the bus - after not being there the whole week? Really?

One thing I will say is that when Patrick screws up, st least he admits it. More class in his pinky finger than that whiny head coach across the river.

RBNJ has to realize that they got two career years out of their offensive stars last year, and instead of upgrading, they thought they could plug in some academy kids and bring in some European retreads and still dominate - because their press system was all powerful. League has upgraded its skill level/tactics this year and RBNJ didn't get the memo. Pure arrogance.

Marsch is has one foot out the door and is only looking out for himself. Armas should be careful because he's going to be thrown under the bus just like the players. Ali Curtis found out the hard way.

What prick, worse even was the pre-game quotes about his wish to either coach in Europe or the USMNT. Let's hope US Soccer is smart enough to never let that whiney, dirty system twerp anywhere near the national team.

I think I've missed the analytical growth part...
No shit. At least partially. All we can do is try.

(And btw, you're 3x the poster you were in year 1. I actually liked you Year 1 and still thought about just temp ignoring you. Now, you regularly add value. This is a compliment from me, anyway. Only 7 people whose posts I make a point to read. If you made it this far, you're one of them. )

excellent work. was the away section reduced for this match? from the video it looks like NYCFC fans to the right and left sections of the official away end. good amount of noise being made there. fair play
I'm not sure how much of that was official away support and how much was unofficial but organized.

Official and unorganized is how things started, so good to know they have improved.

Also important to note, there aren't nearly enough articles about the team for me when I'm looking for beach reading, leading me to do things like notice Mumsy noticing the tube of cream in the post match interview. Think that was hour 3 of reading everything with #NYCFC.

I saw that because Twitter added your retweet of her tweet to my "You Might Have Missed" section. The "reporter" kept it up there the whole time and even asked a question I think. I also love Jack's understated reaction when he noticed.

Yeah, your totally right - I spaced when writing it and was thinking Chile (with Sanchez and Vidal and Puch) and wrote Peru. And I'll defer to you with your knowledge of Comebol - you're way more diehard about them than my cursory knowledge.
It is knowledge wrought from pain lemme tell you! Rooting for a team that actually can win in NYCFC is an alien feeling for me.

Same 500. The away section is 219 through 221. People just spread out.

sorry to ask a stupid question, but wasnt it sold out? attendance was over 25,000 wasn't it? if so, wasn't everyone packed in?

not sure if sold out but the stadium itself had some gaps throughout ...not every seat was filled ...id say about 85-90 percent full though.

Anytime you hear these numbers, they are announced totals. Their capacity is 25,189 so they slightly oversold on tickets. It was quite clear that they were several thousand short of that. Our section was definitely a little tight though. We were allowed to bring NYCFC fans in from anywhere in the stadium who wanted to sit in the supporters section so we were definitely well over 500.
