Well, there's no accounting for taste. And that includes mine.
FWIW I hated the way it looked, and for reasons unrelated to branding, MCFC, etc. Sky blue with white just screams baby boy to me.
Blue with blue is much better, although I would like one of them (either shirt or shorts) to be darker so it's not all one solid undifferentiated blob. For that reason I didn't love the Orlando kit last night either. Offsetting shades of purple would have been more attractive to me.
Maybe, but actually I think the Dutch Boy usually is portrayed in a darker blue.Are you thinking of the Dutch Boy?
I'm thinking of exactly the sort of baby outfit I put up in my diptich. Why you want to dress professional athletes like infants is beyond me. Grown men in sky blue look like idiots.

I love our home kit put all together. To me its like naming a baby. Before the baby comes, everyone has opinions on the name, good or bad. But once they are born, that is just their name, and you couldn't imagine them with a different name. I didn't like the man city reference when i first saw the jersey, but now that it is ours, and I see our boys on the field in it, i love it.

Naw, the first jersey I recognized, but wasn't sure about the second gold one. I did a reverse image search and found out it's Pumas UNAM's jersey - just not sure what year - and it's flippin sweet, though!
So the Pumas UNAM club represents a university, but is in Liga MX - the top tier of Mexico's football system? Fascinating!
