Hey all didn't see a thread like this. Take it few of us are that interested? I'd probably generally count myself among those not paying too much attention but my little old state of Connecticut is adding not one but two teams in the NPSL this upcoming season. Hartford City FC up North and the Elm City Express right in my neck of the woods. Just wondering if anyone else has a team below the MLS level that they also follow to any small degree?

I wont say i follow a specific team ( though liked stockade fc logo before it exploded into the documentaries and articled about the club).
i guess in the future it will be good good to follow LI Rough Riders with potential academy kids there.
There is the cosmopoilitan league in the city with some historic teams in it ( US open cup winners) but they all play in fields far from me...so YS is closer ..lol

I follow along the USL and NASL standings but don't really have a team. I used to travel to Cincinnati about once a month for a year, so I have a minor rooting interest in FC Cincinnati, and just like to see them succeed to demonstrate what a successful D2 league can looks like.
there was some release party of 8 by 8 magazine last year in the city i wanted to go but couldnt but a buddy of mine went and i think the owner was there and was giving out stickers etc about the club and thats how i fully knew about them and followed their twitter etc.
my buddy also made friends with a couple of their supporters group members that were there and i think they came to a couple of nycfc games last year
Any other Connecticut people have any interest in a meet up at the CT derby in a couple of weeks? Elm City Express (New Haven) VS Hartford City. It's Saturday May 20th in New Haven 7 PM kick off. We (NYCFC) don't play till the Sunday night in Orlando so no conflict .
