Man City Discussion

City 2-2 Burnley. First half was great, second half performance was absolutely dreadful. What a wasted opportunity to close the gap.

After the decent start to the game, I couldn't believe that by the end of it I was worried that City would concede a third and lose. What happened after halftime? I mean, even Silva was giving away possession with sloppy passing and that never happens.

So disgusted. Definitely a wasted opportunity to gain ground. Up by 2 at home.

Come on you know we weren't going to win. We have never won more then 9 PL games in a row. This would have been 10. Typical City.

I'm a Man City fan and a Crystal Palace fan. Since I follow two PL teams, I'm sure hardcore supporters of either will frown upon that and I don't claim to be a diehard.
However, I am an American and USL-PRO and MLS are my home leagues and they will always come first, as much as I enjoy watching the PL. I hate how this whole situation was handled from all sides and it has put a sour taste in my mouth. The lack of transparency and honesty from all parties is my biggest complaint.
I stop into this thread because I assume it is where other NYCFC supporters who also watch MCFC can come to have a discussion about the games played.

*ETA-(This post was in response to a now deleted comment in this thread insisting that all man city fans be banned from this site.)

We have to crush Sunderland and root for the Spurs to pull it off! It can happen.
They didn't exactly crush Sunderland, but a win is a win! Spurs picked a good time to play out of their skins, as well. Very entertaining game!

Next up: FA Cup game vs Sheffield Weds., tomorrow @10am. Being shown on Fox Sports 2.

I love how the game is played nowadays. I was on Facebook in NY with my mate in Melbourne arguing about the match (He is a lifelong Sheffield Wednesday fan). He hasn't bet me on a match in years and with good reason.

Yikes... I mean Bony is good but this definitely means they'll be dealing a striker at end of season if not before the end of this transfer window. As much as I like Dzeko and he's a fellow countrymen I'd prefer we sold him over any other.

According to the Mirror, City have agreed to a £30 Million fee with Swansea for the acquisition of Bony.

He's an alright player, but £30Million?? That's a lot of money especially when you figure Aguero, Dzeko, and Jovetic won't be injured all season.
So this just made my Wilfried #10 customized Swansea home jersey redundant. Thanks again for ruining everything MCFC!:confused::eek:

In truth, this is entirely fair and not unexpected, and I knew Bony might go when I bought the kit. I will miss him in Swans white, though.

Sorry for your loss. (Only partially to be fair) No one likes to see a beloved player leave. Esp after buying customized kit.

Other elements on the British press are saying that the £30m offer is all conjecture and that no figure has actually been proposed:
