That's what my Mom calls me since I've apparently assimilated to the "Goyim's culture". Meanwhile I'm planning on moving to Israel within the next 5 years.

Hatzlacha! Why wait?

I like you but we are not going to agree on this. I am comforted knowing that we both want the best for our team. That said, you have to play the odds. If your #1 goal is the MLS cup, there should be no distractions from that goal. Anything can happen in 5 games intertwined with a already demanding MLS season. It's not worth it to me, it is to you. Let's leave it at that.

Fans will always express this opinion, but at the end of the day they will also never understand that for 99% of players, to represent their country is the greatest honour they can have, above and beyond being fit for their club.

His right hamstring was already in bad shape. Right in front of me and @jgarretlieb, he grabbed his hammy very quickly and discreetly after playing a pass back to SJ around midway through the first half against Philly. I pointed it out at the time.

Two T's.

But is he actually Luxembourgian ? I thought he was born in France but of course no way he gets near Les Bleus so he was eligible to play for Luxembourg for whatever reason and took it?

I totally get and agree with playing for your country. My quote was a spillover from the USOC discussion

If he's playing for Luxembourg, then he's actually Luxembourgian - probably with duel citizenship.

True, apparently he was. That said, from the various things I've read in the past of players who have represented a country other than their birth country, they often still feel quite attached to it and proud of what they are doing.

sooooo is he ok ? i saw his tweet saying coming back to nyc but no mention of injury
