Mikkel "Mix" Diskerud [Midfielder]

Got an assist today in their 3-1 win.

In games 2&3 this season (this past weekend and the one before) Mix scored his team’s only goal in both 2-1 losses.

So 2G/1A in 3 games..... a midfielder who can score.

Four games in, his team has gone 2w-0t-2l and Mix has 2G/2A. Yesterday he played as a right wing and got the assist in a 1-0 match.

Anyone know how good the league is compared to MLS? Could he get back into consideration for a USMNT spot if he keeps this up?

Don't forget former top midfielder as well. ;)
Haha, yeah well no idea if Mix is the top midfielder in the Swedish league this year, but he’s been pretty instrumental to his club, and he’s scoring a bunch, so he’s probably in the running. Just goes to show that the environment has a lot to do with how a player performs, and playing first for Kreis and then for a coach that didn’t rate him, and that sandwiched between previously/now excelling shows that he was an undervalued/misused resource. The guy can ball whether anybody here wants to admit it or not. I hope he gets another look from the MNT because he always played well when capped.

Mix Diskerud...Premier League player...

Take that at what you will...
also a first that'll unlikely be repeated: first premier league player from a championship side making the transfer.

Look at these minnows making a huge splash by poaching talent off such a massive club. Gonna be hard for city to repeat when the $ are flying at them from all angles.
