So many thoughts here

Is he good again?
Will he play for Man city?
Will they loan him back to us?
Is this them assuming his contract to clear the books?

Reading tweets from Das is like reading to page 100 of Book A and then starting Book B on page 101. The signing of Mix has no impact on NYCFC’s TAM.

Doyle keeps nagging with this (and quoting espn) that they are doing this to clear our cap when t had no Impact on our cap at all after we "bought him out"

Were they paying his salary? Yes but it was not part of our salary cap.

"Twinkle Toes" a completely selfish person and teammate. I think he cared more about his hair :haircut: then any time spent at NYCFC or on the USMNT.

What does this have to do with Jack Harrison?

The strange business of Football and the over hyping of players such as MIX "Twinkle Toes" Diskerud. Lost in the Soccer ether. They come, they go and then some disappear :ghost:... And then they suddenly mysteriously reappear again. Where else am I supposed to post this? As I just unfortunately referenced him the other day here o_O.

So, two things that I could see are happening here:

1) Mix wants to be a free agent and get out of that MLS contract - he’s under contract with MLS until 2018 so he could only be loaned out (like he is now). CFG maybe said to him that he’d have an easier time finding a European team if he signs with CFG who has many contacts at European clubs.

2) CFG is helping out MLS - although Mix has nothing to do with NYCFC’s cap, MLS is still paying his salary (or at least anything above what the loan club is paying). Getting him off MLS books saves MLS some cash. NYCFC doesn’t really care.

It must be nice not doing anything, not playing, absolutely nothing and getting paid full salary :moneywings:, unreal!
