MLS Cup Playoffs - Conference Semifinals - 2017

According to new comments in the MLS article, Houston's crowd were giving Besler and Benny the same treatment, it just hasn't been as clearly reported.

I'm glad this is happening outside Houston too. The knockout round against Sporting was really fun especially since both Besler and Fielhaber were booed so much. If Besler was anywhere near the ball he got booed a lot. You could tell that everyone was doing that because of the Terrible result in T&T. I mean come on, just don't get scored on. I wish i could have booed Tim Howard since he sucked it up down there, but he sucked it up elsewhere too so he isn't in the playoffs.

Why boo Benny? He barely had any opportunity to contribute this cycle. He wasn’t even subbed into T&T till the 84th.

Strange regarding Benny- he barely played in the match and added (subjectively) more energy to the match than any other MNT player. I guess he’s guilty by association.

ATL had the whole banner and everything as well in their game vs columbus.....if we make it thru to next round and face toronto....i wonder if stuff will happen as well?

anyone in the team that night will be "guilty" of not getting to WC ( except pulisic)

The Booing of the USMNT players had to be expected by the coaches of all the MLS teams and the players as well. You don't get to fuck up your job and get away freely. I think Friedel said it best when he mentioned England and the 94 WC.

I kind of agree about this. I also don't think Dempsey deserves the abuse as he put in good effort. I remember being happy seeing him line up for the second half and saying something like "thank God; finally a guy who will at least try."

Missed the Atlanta banner. I will have to look for it.

Agree on Pulisic. Again, the bigger issue here is not failing to make it. It's failing to put in the effort.

my fault it was against toronto not columbus, cant find a good one but here it is, it says "biggest losers" with Altidore and Bradley

Columbus is gifted a leg1 with Toronto missing key players. Fck!!!

Is there any way both clubs can lose?

I loathe Altidore and Bradley.

And I loathe the shit tactics and press’s ass kissing of a shit club like CLB.

The worst part about the international break is the season won’t be over soon enough. I’m rooting for Portland at this point. If Toronto happens to win and positions us for a CCL Spot, so beit, but I’m content if Bradley, Altidore, Gio, and the entire Columbus team never win anything meaningful from here on out.

Anyone inside that tunnel is part of TFC, Red Bulls, or security. ALL fans are behind the glass.

That being said, I would be banging on the glass like a hockey match if I was there.
See anything about who was in the wrong?
