MLS Live Rights Bought by ESPN

Can someone summarize what this all means? MLS Live will have free access to condensed games the rest of the season, and you need to pay for a new ESPN option, ESPN plus which will have all MLS games like the paid version of MLS Live used to have?
Right now if you want full out of market games live or full match replays get ESPN+. If you want condensed games (8 minute extended highlights really) right now, they are free on the mls app. 20 minute condensed games are MIA.
Nope. Tweet in diff thread confirmed 20 mins are coming to app as well. The rest of what you said is correct.
1. ESPN+ = all live matches (out of market & not national). Full replays. $5 p/m
2. MLS app = 8-20 min condensed replays. Free
MLS digital has been saying this for weeks on reddit and there are still no 20 minute games. My favorite state is Missouri.
Well the new system hasn’t rolled out yet. They also received the 20 min feedback all season. Maybe they had originally decided 8 pre-season. Now they realize their diehards want the 20, so they are giving it to them. It’s the same editor they’ve had on staff doing it in the past and he personally confirmed.
My favorite planet is Uranus.
Nice. So the thing that many of us want to pay for is free and something that may be less desirable will cost money?
I watched that game on ESPN+ but it kept freezing and I'd have to refresh the entire page to get it started again. That's going to really annoy me when it's an NYCFC game.

Sadly, the only thing Apple TV is good for anymore is streaming your Mac or iPhone onto the big screen. And even that really isn’t necessary except for go90 matches (please CCL get a real TV contract!).
This is the only reason I haven’t cut the cord myself. At some point, I have to believe other internet providers will enter the market. There is tremendous untapped and growing demand for an affordable unbundled internet service.
