Orlando 3 - RSL 1

Orlando with their 6th straight game and sit with 19 points after 9 games. We have 20 points after 10 games. Another team that can jump us with a win. Our record is only 4 straight wins.

The quality of competition and the fact that 4 of 6 came at home is another point to consider. Their away wins were at Philadelphia and at Colorado. Both teams I'd expect us to defeat as well on the road.

We beat Orlando convincingly. Yet, that they still can lap us with that 6 point swing is disturbing. However, we beat Olando convincingly. Let the season play out some more. We’ll face lesser opponents, they’ll face tougher. We’ll also play them some more.

I didn't watch the match but I'm waiting the highlights. The first 60 minutes of the game seemed to be all RSL except for one Orlando goal.

In those 60 minutes for RSL, they hit the post twice and had two 1v1 with the goalkeeper that were saved or went out for a corner.

Orlando hasn’t beaten anyone any good in that run, but 6 straight wins is still impressive regardless of competition.

Their schedule is about to get a lot tougher. Let’s see how they fare in the next few games: Atlanta, @Toronto, Chicago, @NYCFC.

This also raises the question of who we root for in their game this weekend. A tie, I guess.
