Fire up your MLS Live account (assuming it works) because we have another good Wednesday night start with Columbus hosting Toronto.

Other interesting games?
How about the 2nd place team in each conference facing off Saturday night as Orlando hosts Sporting KC.
Or, the 3rd place team in the East heading to the top team in the West as NYC travel to Dallas Sunday night.
Finally, the Red Fools host the Galaxy on Sunday afternoon, and Atlanta heads into Portland.

Toronto on a 5 game win streak. Impressive that they have been able to get road wins without Giovinco. Annoying, but impressive

Toronto is looking like the team that bossed us in the playoffs and deserved to win MLS Cup, not the team that never beat us in the regular season, and stumbled through the end of the 2016 season going only 2-2-4 even though 6 of their last 8 were Home games. I liked that Toronto better.

geez.... Toronto wins 3-2 vs Minnesota, but their 2nd goal is complete BS served up by the MLS refs. Minnesota player gifts them an own goal, but the replay shows the Toronto player he's marking wrapped all over him tugging him down which is what causes the deflection. How the Fck the asst ref didn't see it with it being on his near post?!? That is some gracious home field ref'ing....

In three of today's matches one of the teams scored four goals, three matches saw one team scoring three goals, and the other was a 2-2 draw.

In before a "does MLS have a defensive problem?" thinkpiece pops up.

A win today by NYCFC and a non-win by Portland puts us in 2nd place in the supporters shield.

For a chance to qualify in a CCL most these players will never participate in.

As long as they don't get a raise, they've probably still got a chance to play.

Completely ignorant about this, but does .com cost more?
No. It's all who claims it first. The Revs presumably let someone else snag revolutionsoccer.com before they did, which was dumb. But they can buy it from whoever owns it, for a negotiated price, and they should either do that, or switch to something else like revolutionmls.com, or nerevsoccer.com, or patriotsredheadedstepbrother.com

I don't think there's any CCL spot to be won by getting the shield for the next two years.
If/when it's finalized, the SS table will definitely factor into whatever the new Mex/MLS tournament turns out to be.

That one is one our current players should get a chance to compete in.

The disparity between what teams spend on forwards vs what they spend on defenders must be bigger in MLS than any league in the world.

Still, I doubt anyone complains about too many goals being scored anytime soon.
