Big slate of games tonight (Wednesday), with nearly half the league in action. Biggest Double Game Week of the season, I think.

All games are MLS Live - will be great when one of the big networks decides to show Wednesday games on a more regular basis.

Biggest game is Sporting KC hosting Seattle at 8:30.

Weekend starts off huge with New Jersey hosting Toronto on Friday night. Most interesting Saturday game is Atlanta hosting Houston. Sunday night's game between Orlando and NYC is probably the weekend's best.

Well, it just went from bad to worse for us tonight.

Orlando up 1-0 vs. SJ in the 81'

San Jose ties it on a goal from Wondo in the 83'

An exciting, maybe controversial 1-1 draw between Toronto and Red Bull, ending the 6x winning streak of TFC.

Am I just colored by my dislike of all things Red Bull, or was that not a bicycle kick by BWP? No doubt, great goal, but if his other foot never leaves the ground, I don't see the bicycle

Bicycle kick, overhead kick. It was still a nice goal.

I think for most a bicycle kick means leaving the ground, but I don't know if there is any official definition.

I also don't se why it's called a bicycle kick. Who rides a bicycle suspended in the air, feet above the head, and swinging your lower leg forward from the knee? No part of that is bicycle-ish. The leg movement on a bicycle is down and back, not forward and up (at least the important part that provides the drive -- obviously it's circular).

Chicago wins 1-0 vs. DC

Even if we win on Sunday vs. Orlando, we would be 3rd in the East, level on games played with Chicago.

Nothing to worry about - we still have two game against Chicago. If the result go our way, we make up the ground instantaneously. If they don't, then we didn't necessarily deserve to be higher in the standings all things being equal.

What I'm more pissed about is that most teams that played double game weeks have started their main starters midweek and this weekend. Chicago started Niko and Accam both days. SKC doing the same. Union doing the same. If we started our top guys we would have likely won. And Vieira says their is no fatigue on the team and that's bullshit.
