Are any of the above answers legit? I would sincerely like to know what the hell is going on with this match happening today.

oh wow. I guess EganSoccerWords derek_villa wasn't messing around. All checks out.

Put aside our loss, and it has been a very good weekend of results for us. Red Bulls dropped 2 at home. Orlando dropped 3 at home and seem to be sinking. In the West, LAFC dropped 2 at home to DC. Only negative was Portland beat Colorado, putting them within a whisker of our PPG.

Include our loss, and it's been an even better weekend of results for idle Atlanta.

Impossible to put aside our loss.

The team’s flaws (coaching/management) were exposed in our first two blow-out losses and Houston, an absolutely horrible and undisciplined club, confirmed them. If our organization doesn’t have an intervention with their demagogue, then they either don’t care that the same mistakes are being made, or they aren’t willing to accept that their golden starlet Manager has a severe disability/void in his tactical knowledge.

NYCFC would do wonders by instilling a contrarian coach on Vieira’s staff, a highly experienced former manager, that is willing to go chin to chin with Vieira and tell him when he disagrees.

Watched the last 20 or so minutes of the NJRB - Philly game and Philly was taking it to the Cows. NJRB’s press wasn’t working and Philly was controlling possession and if not for being inept in the final third could have taken all 3.

Not sure if this is a factor of the end of the game and RBNJ was tired or Philly was much better than I expected. Philly really should have taken all 3 points there.

IDK, maybe it helps when the players are ready to play against the press.

I didn't watch, but the stats definitely show a different possession story in the two halves, so maybe RB did get tired.

Big game to end the weekend, SKC vs. Columbus.

A SKC win will put us back in 2nd in the East, unless SKC win by the scoreline of 9-8, in which case NYCFC and Columbus would be tied on points, wins, goal differential, goals for, and goals against.

Halftime in Kansas City. It's 0-0.

Melia saved a Zardes penalty. Higuain received a straight red in added time due to a studs up, over the ball tackle.

Should be a second red coming up for a slap.

ETA: or not. what a miss on that call.
