Philadelphia vs. Toronto is in there from next week, because SKC vs. MNUFC wasn't in the upcoming matches version.

And in Week 14 ATL loses Garza indefinitely due to shoulder surgery. They hope to have him back by the end of the season. Not a game changer, but a solid player that knocks them down a little in the depth chart.

Atlanta ‘s PK luck starting to turn. Give one up at 90 +1 to drop 2 points.
And while they may be heading home to familiar plastic, ATL are hosting a very hot Philadelphia which has gone 3-0-1 (10/12pts) scoring 9 for and giving up only 2, while holding RB scoreless. Granted, the three wins were against sub-par opponents, but confidence in their system is key and a few ATL players won’t want to take cards for fear of missing our match, so PHL may be able to exploit that.

Wonder if Toronto can get off the schnide tomorrow against Columbus. I hope so.

One of Toronto's biggest problems with their huge point deficit is that they had a lot of easier games to start the year. Now that they are chasing, they are doing it while playing a lot of tough teams.

I’m hearing Federico Higuain has had his red card rescinded. Cristian Martinez has been suspended 2 games however for violent conduct against Sporting Kansas City. #Crew96.

Higuain's red was rescinded and no suspension.

To recap, the initial call was no card. They went to VAR, and issued the red. Now the Committee rescinded the VAR call.

Predicting that VAR would be a mess was the easiest prediction anyone ever made. It gets some calls right, but gets others wrong, adds more time, and removes immediacy.

Wild, wild day in MLS.

Toronto up 3-0, Columbus equalize with a penalty in the 90th. Game ends 3-3.

Philadelphia with two red cards in the same minute. Bedoya with his second yellow then Medunjanin with two yellows for dissent. Atlanta wins 3-1.

New England beats the Red Bulls 2-1.

Josef Martinez is obviously a great player and a very dangerous goal scorer. But damn, how many of his goals have come when Atl have been up a man (or 2)?

Well technically at least three. And all from tonight.

As I said before, either the Fix is in for ATL, or that ref has zero ability to control a match. Who gets a yellow for having a foot on the line while adjusting their sock or shoe??? Who gets two yellows for dissent arguing the play - at most one and then the game is restarted with the ref ignoring the player?!?! That’s just blatant insecurity by the ref to show “who’s boss”???? What’s odd is how many times it’s ATL as the beneficiary of loose red cards.

Absolutely insane to give a second yellow for what Bedoya did. That ref should be on whatever the ref equivalent of the bench is for a while.
The shame of it is that Philly has been playing solid enough soccer to have beaten Atlanta in a straight up match without the refs gifting it.

I just watched the ATL/Philly PK-Red-Red video highlight, and not only were the reds utter bullshit and loss of control by the ref - it was akin to chest bumping to show who was tougher - but I don’t think the initial fouls for the Pk was even a foul. Granted, they didn’t zoom in on it, but it sure looked like the defender got the ball from Martinez without excessive hacking - looked like Martinez overran the ball and the defender kicked the ball (which was behind Martinez) and the follow through clipped Martinez’ heels. Looked clean to me.

That was why Bedoya was wasting time. He was hoping for a VAR review. He actually walked several steps beyond the circle to hold things up. Kind of stupid when you’re already on a Yellow.
