Things get started Saturday night with a host of games - none particularly compelling. Most interesting for us are probably Dallas at Philly and New England at Chicago.

Sunday presents three good games on national television.

- Portland vs. LA, 2pm ESPN
- New York vs. New Jersey, 6pm FS1
- Sporting KC vs. Atlanta, 8pm FS1

Can Sporting KC do us another solid and take down Atlanta?

Which game will Alexi Lalas travel to cover?

I'm not sure why, but I have some weird feeling that we're going to get some good results this week.

Give me a DC draw at home against TFC and a SKC win against Atlanta. I think Chicago wins at home against NER.

NER have been rolling and Chi is studdering, especially with Acaam unhappy. That's ripe for an upset.

And Chicago had four players in the All Star Game. So time spent there is away from training for the next game. New England had their full squad.

An Atlanta goal in stoppage time away from this coming through. Also, that goal was a killer for SKC, came from Jacob Peterson who played with SKC for 4 years before moving to Atlanta this offseason.

That was the best possible outcome. Keeps both of them behind us.

The Chicago game was averse, but we still play them again so a win will nearly kill their advantage.

The Toronto result kinda sucks since D.C. had them and yet they still grabbed a point being a man up. Wonder how much their win over us took out of them?

A win vs LA could put us right back in the fold.

For NYC to gain ground we need 2-3 Away wins minimum. And if it's 2 wins the remaining 4 games need to be 1 loss and 3 draws.

And next week TFC and Chicago have tough matches. Toronto is home against Portland, but they've been coming into good form as of late.

Chicago is at Columbus. Columbus doesn't really impress me all that much, but they're decent at home (7-3-1) and Chicago isn't all that great on the road (2-5-4). Which kind of leads me to another point, Chicago's home record is ridiculous (10-0-1).

Minnesota's broadcast crew is fun to listen to. The announcer does a good job describing the multitude of goals they surrender, and he always seems just as excited about the 4th as the first.
And than we have Creepy Uncle Joe
