Busy week coming up with games on 3 days starting Friday.
Will be interesting to see how Minnesota fairs with attendance given the horrendous start to the season.

That Seattle-Atlanta game is going to be fun to watch. If United can head into Seattle and come out with a win, we know how scary they are going to be all year.

Week 5 Questions

1. Who invented soccer? Seattle or Atlanta?

Atlanta is first in GD and third in PPG league-wide. Seattle has had a neutral start (1-1-1) but is supposed to be one of the favorites. Can the title-defenders finally give the expansion team it's proper MLS welcome? Or is Atlanta (without Josef Martinez this week) too legit to quit?

2. Will Houston bounce back?

The Houston attack of Cubo Torres and Romell Quioto have three goals each through three games, but their defense finally broke against Portland last week, giving up four goals and dropping their first points of the season. They host another strong attack, the Red Bulls, this weekend.

3. Worst-to-First?

Orlando and Columbus finished in the bottom three of the East last year. After this weekend's matchup, the winner could be sitting first in the East through five weeks.

How about this for luck...If only this injury happened when we played them...

Probably got the initial tear playing on a slick field in shitty cold and damp weather. The rest of the league can thank us.

Groin injuries suck more than anything else save a bad hamstring tear. Could be out longer than they know.

Am I the only one not impressed with the rest of the league right now? Watching Toronto and SKC and we look way better than them. We've held consistent possession and created tons of chances. Have played great offensive football so far.

Altidore and Benny aren't playing for Toronto and SKC. The weather is cray in Toronto, but yeah, they don't look sharp.

Good one between ATL and Seattle.

Seattle needs to figure out a way to get grass.

I just watched these this morning. TFC had to come away with 3 points. IDK whats up with SKC. They dont look like they can actually score. Their games have been dreadful to watch.

I thought Seattle Atlanta was entertaining but someonr has to score somewhere. I really like what Harry Shipp brings to the lineup. Roldan looked amazing this game, but he looks alot better as the 8 than on the wing imho. Game changed siginifcantly when Dempesy and Almiron subbed in. Idk why ATL didnt start a true forward in Jones over Peterson.

Friday night games after an international break should not include teams with a substantial number of U.S. players.
The league cannot always guess what teams will have players called up; yes, some players seem to be a given, but who's to say the current coach will seenit that way? Plus, nearly every team in the league now has NT players from 1 or more countries, meaning there's always a team affected, so the only solution would be to not have Friday games which would not sit well with the TV companies.
