Give the people what they want!!!

Some odd results in Week 17 midweek action. Minnesota knocks off Portland, DC rises from the dead to eat Atlanta's brains, Orlando does what it does best and gets an equalizer in Seattle at the death.

Tonight's fun game will be Houston hosting Dallas - Houston is terrific at home, and Dallas is one of the best in the league, despite some average results of late.

Tomorrow is the Hudson River Derby in the afternoon and a couple of good ones at night with Chicago hosting Orlando and LA hosting SKC.

Sunday late is the Cascadia Cup as Portland hosts Seattle.

Who are we rooting for in Chicago v Orlando?

Orlando is a paper tiger, no way they sit in fourth all year with a -2 GD. They've gotten very fortunate results all year. So I have to assume they will sink throughout the rest of the year. Do we hope for an Orlando win, to give us a leg up on Chicago? I think Chicago with Schweini and Mccarty are the real deal. Cant wait to play them and Toronto, we better have the full squad set by then.

Yes. Orlando win or a tie. At this point, Chicago is for real until proven otherwise. Orlando won't necessarily keep sinking. They could have another good streak. But there's no reason to consider them as much of an obstacle as the Fire.

Giovinco just got a yellow card for kicking Koffie in the balls from behind. TFC winning 1-0 playing with just one rest day after Wednesday's Canada Cup game.

DisCo should really review that and give him a 1 game suspension. That should have been a red.

It was weird. It seemed like he was really trying to play the ball, which was in front of Koffie, but that meant kicking through his legs and was extremely reckless at best.

Villa needs to get scoring, or he is going to get left in the dust in the Golden Boot race. He might not care, but I would love to see him win it

There might have been some doubt before, but now everyone can see there is a top 3 in the East (Tor, Chi, NYCFC) who will fight it out for the top 3 seeds and everyone else except DC (despite what the standings say) will be fighting it out for 4-6.
