Got a few questions for those that have used mobile entry. I have season tickets, but I'm bringing 5 co-workers to a game at the end of the money and they weren't available to print, so mobile only.

How do you access the tickets on mobile? Signing in to my account manager on my phone?

Am I able to share the tickets with my co-workers? Like how do we all get in at the gate? And what if they go to get a beer or whatever and need to show their ticket to get back to their seats? Or do I have to screenshot them and text it to them?

Thanks in advance for your help!

your situation is unique to me, but i recall one time i "printed" my tickets, and by that i mean i got the pdf so that i could load them on stub hub, I didnt actually print them. They didn't sell so when i tried to go to the game they were removed from my season ticket card. I looked like an idiot not having my tickets printed in hand nor able to use the card, so i logged into my account and there was a barcode that the guy could scan off my phone screen. it was still active thankfully. I am sure if you get this bar code you could theoretically take a screenshot and text it to each person you are bringing, and they could scan it just the same as if it was through the web page. Now if the security guy decided to put his investigator hat on and notices its a screenshot and not actually tickets through a website, then i don't know what will happen. But if i recall when i did it through the website I held up the code, he scanned it, then swiped right and the next code popped up and he scanned it again and we both went in. You could do that method 5x if everyone joins you. and I suppose the screenshots to each person will just get you passed the usher if they don't want to be tied to you at the hip, but again if he is not glassy-eye and asleep he may ask more questions about why its a photo of a ticket, but that's unlikely and you can just walk up and explain the situation.

thanks! guess they can swipe through to get in the gate and I can screenshot and send it to them for when get get food or whatnot and need to get back to their seats - those ushers don't scan them

If they have ticketmaster accounts, you can also just e-mail each one their own ticket.

I guess this is my fault, but I quickly glanced at this thread this weekend and decided that the ticket exchange extra seat I bought for a friend could just be scanned in at the gate. So far as I now know, that is not possible. The ticket itself does not say that it MUST be printed, but that is definitely the policy.

The only option I saw when I bought it was for delivery was print at home. It was a PDF with a bar code. When we got to the gate, they said they could only scan QR codes, and and that it would have to be printed at Gate 4. When I logged into ticketmaster exchange (which is now separate from ticketmaster account manager) there was no option to do anything but save/print the PDF. So, the guy logs my season ticket out (which he already scanned in) so we can go deal with the other ticket. We get to Gate 4, and after being directed to multiple windows, they are able to print a ticket. Then we try to enter Gate 2. My season ticket won't scan. (I actually forgot my season card, but was able to pull up the QR code through account manager). I run back to Gate 4 customer service. They log the ticket in and out to try to reset it. I go back to Gate 2. Same thing. I go back to customer service for the third time and they print a paper ticket for me. (Big ups to the guy at window #1 customer service, he was actually super understanding and said if the paper ticket didn't work, he would personally walk me in). I finally get in after the national anthem.

Am I just misusing the technology/available options? My work-study job in college was at the IT helpdesk. As the years roll on, I am admittedly not as tech savvy as I once might have been, but between having account manager and ticket exchange be different ticketmaster accounts, and (unless I screwed something up when I bought extra ticket) the inability to enter with a mobile device on extra tickets seems unnecessarily difficult

what a pain in the ass. Glad you got in eventually.

Did you buy it through tickets now or regular Ticketmaster? Tickets now gives you a PDF you have to print (As I discovered today) rather then the QR code that Ticketmaster does.

The stadium staff kept asking me that when I was trying to get in. I only just now noticed that when you click the link for the Ticket Exchange from NYCFC's website, it re-direct's to ticketsnow.com. I am so confused now that account manager and the exchange are separate

The entire ticketmaster/ticketexchange/ticketsnow/accountmanager setup is possibly the clunkiest thing i've ever dealt with. Honestly I got lucky this game that my tickets sold a couple hours before the match, because I simply did not feel like going through the hoops to remove my listing so I could exchange my seats earlier in the week. Then I did not want to go through the hassle of lowering the price offered on my seats because it's such a pain.

I don't think all of them do - but that could help - thanks! Side question: our Account Manager login won't get us into regular Ticketmaster, though, right?
You can also download to your apple wallet. Then, share the pass with each OR simply screenshot the passes and SMS to each.
