Matarrita can certainly play. Jumping to that conclusion is ridiculous. Maybe try switching Wallace to LB and Matarrita to LW.
Ummm, why would we move a critical piece of our attack? He's not as flashy as Matarrita, but he is effective.

Matarrita is just not going to become a good defender at NYC. Until he's at a club where he will actually be benched for being garbage on that side, what we see is what we get.

Wallace is arguably our best player right now. I don't think you move him
"arguably" is the worst word in common sports lexicon. True, you could argue that. Of course you would be wrong if you argued Wallace was better than at least Villa, Harrison, Ring, Chanot, and Callens. He can't even go 90 right now. The guy hustles, but let's not get crazy.

In fairness to Wallace he may be able to go the full 90 if he didn't have to make 5-8 end to end runs a game when Mata gets completely caught out due to his lack of defensive positional awareness.

A sign that Harrison has improved from last year, is that fact that he often disappeared in games where he was paired on the right side with a stay at home RB, (ex. Hernandez). This year even when paired with White, he has looked dangerous in attack. We still favor the left side on attack, but the right side isn't the black hole it was some games last year

White has made some really good overlapping runs - definitely has improved that aspect of his game.

White's biggest issue has always been positioning due to ball watching or not anticipating the game/movement of the ball & his mark. With a small sample size of two games, it appears he has been coached-up on that aspect, or maybe it all finally clicked for him. Either way, I'm happy he's performing well because it means guys are improving and understanding their roles.

(Sorry to turn a Harrison post into a White post, but their performances are tethered together)

If I recall, this game was the first time that City Beats did not play at all during the match. Or maybe I'm just remembering incorrectly.
