National Hockey League

I'm hoping the Rangers can get a win in this game - they looked absolutely fabulous (as in good ... not the british show) in the first period and slumped. Let's see what we can do. Also has anyone actually seen the Will Farrel Go kings Go thing near Penn Station ... I hate to say it but kudos thats pretty funny of them.

That was one of the most punishing games I've ever had to endure. Absolutely need to take the next two or it's all over.

Yeah, its been a great series, but brutal finishes. Still proud as hell of the NYR, Kings have an awesome team, and is built to win year after year, NYR have been in every game, still a chance to take two back in Rangerstown!

I was able to turn it on when Brass scored. Then made it somewhere in the first 5 minutes of 2OT. Woke up at around 4AM first thought: omfg how did I fall asleep shit shit shit. Grabbed my phone and saw it....4-5. Stupid Kings and their dumb goals.

Even if they Rangers don't make it out of this, it's been a blast watching them this season. The team just gels together so beautifully. The fact that both Finals games have gone into OT just proves that the teams are equally matched and could literally be anyone's game.

If Rangers don't win there are no moral victories to be taken. Playing in the Finals and having an opportunity to win a cup is something that comes around very rarely, especially for this organization. If they don't take advantage...

I'll enjoy the hell out of seeing the Eastern Conference Champions banner being raised but I agree, it's going to potentially be a long time before we get to this point again. Not over yet but despair is starting to set in (again).

There is a reason, besides superstition, why nobody touches the Prince of Wales Trophy. Its because nobody plays for that trophy, nobody cares about it. Its just a step to getting the ONLY reason that actually matters in hockey.

Nobody cares who the best loser was.

I would be surprised if they had a banner raising ceremony for ECC, I bet they just raise it before the season and it is there when you look up next. Nothing to celebrate here.

I think it will be celebrated. It's not often they make it to that point.

Regardless, you're right. There's only one goal that matters in the end. Let's hope they can grab one tonight.

The fact that the Kings haven't held a lead in any of the past 3 playoff games is a stat that chaps my ass the most.
We gotta find a way to close out these games.
Also, I don't want to see Richards on the ice on the PP.

Richards has been horrible all around, but seems he gives up more chances than he creates on the PP>

Must win tonight, no way around it. Hopefully the MSG crowd is good tonight, though you never know considering the amount of suits that attend these high price games.

argh! am I completely off base in saying the rangers played a real good game last night, they just had awful power plays and quick was un real?

either way ... i'm just hoping to not get swept.

From what I heard on TV it sounded as if the fans were booing the Rangers in the 3rd period? I hope I misheard. They sure don't deserve booing.

Meh, whaddayagonnado?
Series still on life support, but I don't think any of us thought this team would be playing for the cup 3 months ago.
Great season, fun ride, I'm proud of the team.

Hurts a lot. I usually hate boo-birds, but I can hardly blame them considering how painful this has become. Personally, I smashed a remote and have gone into total depression this series.

I had a pretty busy night at work so I wasn't able to watch any of the game. When I saw the sscore was 3-0 in the 3rd I got a lump in my throat. As a fan I'm not ready to give up hope. It wouldn't be the first time a team came back from being down 3 and it's in this particular team's form to do that.
