NYCFC House

Essentially, it's a place downtown where the club will host events. What will those events be?

I have no idea but I know that at least ONE of them is going to be lit.

Welcome to #NYCFCHouse, the Club’s first-ever pop-up shop and soccer experience space coming to the Meatpacking District for three weeks only...

From August 31 to September 21, this celebration of all things NYCFC will be open for business at 446 West 14th Street, under the shadow of The Highline and decked out over four floors.

More than just a retail space, this pop-up shop will be a hive of activity throughout the month, hosting activities and events, designed for visitors to connect and engage with the Club and the sport.

The events program will include:

  • A day-time “Chalk Talk” seminar series which will spotlight New Yorkers who have helped shape the beautiful game
  • Pick-up games on the underground basement mini-pitch, providing a space for expression and play
  • Evening parties both inside and on the rooftop for guests to enjoy Manhattan’s skyline views
Additionally, player appearances will take place throughout the month and exclusive merchandise will be available for purchase. (YES! YES! YES!)

The club’s pop up shop will be a catalyst for connection and will empower fans to truly experience the passion of NYCFC first-hand.

Full events calendar coming soon!

Bookmark NYCFC.com/House where all events and promotions will be listed and follow us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to make sure you’re first to know.

Event calendar is up - https://www.nycfc.com/house-events-calendar and looks like fun. There are a lot of offerings. I registered for the "Being a Manager in MLS with Patrick Vieira" chalk talk.

ETA: If I was 5-14 it would be even more fun. :tearsofjoy: But I appreciate how they are getting kids involved.

Yes, the calendar is up and a lot of the events are interesting. The future of watching sports, refereeing, construction of the academy building and other venues. But the sad part is they are all at 12 or 1 PM during the week. Are they expecting the Chelsea/Meatpacking lunch crowd to show up?

Agree - I was surprised to see the M-F lunch times. I can only go to the weekend events.

so i cant RSVP for weekend events then since they are filled up. I know i can do walkup but its limited, meh im not gonna make my way out there if im not even sure i will be able to get in.

interesting...i figured the press conference etc would be at RBA or something. not here

All of the journalists and probably staying in the city. Why make it inconvenient on them to travel all the way to jersey for a press conference that's less than an hour.

Yeah. I'm doing the supporters group chalk talk.
Hoping to walk up for that one.

RSVP'd for the one about stadium infrastructure (strangely posted as being about the youth system) and the one with the architect who designed the CFA complex. Also hoping to walk up for the analytics one.
