Brash and controlled? They're not quite antonyms but pretty damn close.
Anyway, if I had to describe Tommy in one or two words, "brash" isn't the first one that would come to mind.
I didn't even have to look to see who the author was. The uninformed opinion said it all.
Time to take stock of how our media did on Vieira. Who was skeptical? Who was credulous? Who reported anything substantive beyond linking to L'Equipe or quoting the denials?
I’ve always believed that when someone gives a reporter info on the condition it not be published, and then the reporter finds out it was a lie, the reporter should publish that info because the source misrepresented.
When Vieira gave that statement after practice a few weeks ago he told reporters a “personal reason” for his trip to France to prove he wasn’t in negotiations. I want to know what that was.
Vacation? How about home shopping/getting ready for the move. He’s not lying by saying it’s a personal trip and he didn’t negotiate with the club.
If it’s not a vacation home, then it’s his first home. That would have been lying.
Unless YES gets an app of their own, there will be no streaming service.

Telemundo Deportes in partnership with New York City Football Club (NYCFC) today announced the opening of a custom-built soccer field with giant screens displaying Telemundo’s exclusive Spanish-language broadcast of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ at Rockefeller Center, in the heart of Manhattan.
Soccer fans will get a chance to partake in all the action as bleachers and giant screens will be set up in Rockefeller Plaza, located between 49th and 50th Streets and 5th and 6th Avenues, for the public to watch all live matches that take place from June 30 through the end of the of the Final July 15.
The space will open to the public at 10am on June 30th with a viewing party for the first Round of 16 matches, followed by soccer programming on the pitch, and a viewing party for NYCFC’s away match against Chicago Fire at 8:30pm.
In addition, the custom-built soccer field on Rockefeller Plaza will offer fans a chance to participate in a number of soccer activities, including pick-up games, tournaments, clinics, and meet and greets with players from NYCFC.
Also taking place at Rockefeller Center is a vintage soccer jersey exhibit produced in partnership with Classic Football Shirts, which will take soccer fans through the history of some of the most emblematic shirts of the last 32 years.
All activities are free and open to the public. The full schedule of activities will be revealed soon.
